| These are a small part of my collection of Edison and other cylinders. Most are 4 minute celluloid, called Blue Amberol, but other 4 min cylinders include US Everlasting, Indestructible, and Lakeside. Also I have just started to record 2 minute wax cylinders, of which I have 200 or so. The four minute cylinders were played on a Model 30 Edison Phonograph with diamond stylus. The two minute cylinders are played on an Edison Model A Standard Phonograph with sapphire stylus. To record the cylinders, I use CDEX software, and place a microphone a few inches from the sound horn. US Everlasting, Indestructible, and Lakeside. |
| On November 6, 2007, I added 20 more of my very finest titles, including 3384 Comin' Thro' the Rye, Master Isaacs (A young Boy's voice, not a woman) (1918), several more Opera and Concert, and more Vernon Dalhart. You should also listen to 28121, to hear a remarkable voice.
